The Advanced Skills and Simulation Centre at Parul University is developed with the vision to serve as a Centre of Excellence for Basic and Advanced skill learning and prepare aspiring health care professionals to successfully meet patient requirements and care. The Advanced Skills and Simulation Centre at Parul University provides a physical model of critical simulation and pre-hospital training that includes all the necessary elements of hospitals, including a fully-stocked Operating room, a Surgical Unit, a functioning Intensive Care Unit, a Triage and Emergency Unit, an ECHO and Cardiac Diagnostics Unit, a Critical Care Simulation Unit, a Trauma Simulation Unit, an Advanced Obstetrics Unit, a Neonatal Unit, along with Task Training areas. The Advanced Skills and Simulation Centre is envisioned to be the Centre of Excellence which will impart empirical knowledge and skills like Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Training, Basic and Advanced Trauma Workshops, Surgical Training, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Emergency Training, Paediatrics Training, First aid and Emergency Training, Radiological Training, Advance Ophthalmology Training, Critical Care Training, Hospital Infection Control Training and so on by using high fidelity simulators and task trainers. Medical & Paramedical students can evaluate their ability to manage real-life emergencies by practicing and can enhance clinical, psychomotor, and communication skills. Exposing professionals and trainees repeatedly to actual medical situations for advanced treatment and care of patients with varied medical and surgical disorders are the main focus of the Advanced Skills and Simulation Centre.
